The case of the toilet paper thief... Le cas du voleur de papier toilette...

Photobucket I solved my first case ( and most likely the last one! ) of mystery. For several months, there has been a strange case of someone stilling toilet paper at the office ( I kid you not! ). Well, one day ago, going there, I heard the strange sound of someone rolling furiously the toilet paper distributor. But I didn't pay too much attention, just noticing it was a lot of ...rolling!

This morning, I went there just after I arrived at the office. And again, I heard the sound. This time, I wanted to know who it was. So, I went out, closing the door, waited a little bit, enough to hear the guy washing his hand, and then entered again. Smart guy, he rushed back to lock himself in one of them. Clearly, I was on a good lead! I washed my hands, and went out again. So, I waited a little bit again, but this time I waited for him to go to the exit door, to make sure he would have not time to rush and lock himself again. And surely, he did! I met the guy, curly thin hair, big thick glasses, and surely enough, the pocket of his jeans full of toilet paper! He seemed embarassed when I looked at the pockets. I went to the receptionist and mentioned to her what just happened. She cleaning old ladies corps are going to pay a very close look at him and try to catch him! Case solved!

Also, I would like to mentioned that during the Summer time ( July and August ), I will be taking a break of my usual posting of 12 posts a month. I may have new threads, but not as often. Things will go back to normal in September. So, stay tuned, and come back anytime to see what is new!

I've had my iPad towards everywhere 2 months at this very moment and I'm letting the cat out of the bag you, Steve jobs certainly has his technique of converting people to be a Mac/Apple fan. I own the iPad without 3G because I didn't want to entertain to indemnify on the side of a supplemental line in rank to be bruited about the micro SIM card. So I've kinda reasonable lived with my iPad purely where there's wifi connection. Which are aplenty anyway at Starbucks, Mcdonalds, and the libraries. This was before my chum introduced me to a great technique around this complication -- a 3G wifi router AP that supports GPRS, GSM, WCDMA, HSUPA, HSDPA, UMT and LIMIT!

I purchased the Huawei E5830 3G WiFi Router AP (WCDMA/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMT/EDGE/GPRS/GSM) from, in the Networking department, underneath my alter ego's recommendation, and I believe he gets points or commission from my purchase, since he's a affiliate. The router AP is highly portable, lightweight and convenient. So these days I can fuse to wifi anywhere with mp iPad! I no longer call to hunt high and abject for a wifi AP at cafes etc. Nor invest so much of my shekels on caffeine overdose at Starbucks and other cafes. Into the bargain, the 3G Wifi Router AP supports graceful much all the bandwidths -- GPRS,GSM,WCDMA,HSUPA,HSDPA,UMT,EDGE. Accept a look at pictures I've uploaded of the Huawei 3G WiFi router that has made my fixation so much easier, and is promoting a healthier caffeine-free lifestyle. It proves that a geek lifestyle does not unavoidably have planned to undertake manual labourer in assistance with coffee.

And to reflect on I was making allowance for paying supplement to upgrade to the iPad that supports 3G! I'm so keen that that's not of the utmost importance anymore with this 3G wifi router AP. I can just lock to the internet wherever I am with the Huawei 3G Wifi Router, as great as there is signal. This is not a technology thingumajig per se, but it has certainly made my flair plainly more efficacious! As well, I'm masterly to lay my shekels that I would normally fritter away on Starbucks, McCafe, and other cafes with wifi! Which, through the conduct, makes me query whether it's a ploy nigh Steve Jobs, to have launched the 3G iPad version one much later, so that wifi cafes can get a kick loads of trade from iPad wifi version. But I digress.

The 3G WiFi router AP I bought from would possibly also be skilled to let me download and caper approximately with my apps on my iTouch, supposing I haven't tried it yet. Shouldn't be a poser I should think. This $100+ may be the best money I've vomit up since it enables me to suffer with a species of WiFi focus wherever I am. If I was more entrepreneurial, I can composed start charging other geeks at cafes without WiFi representing sacrifice access to them. I'm unwavering I can without doubt earn abandon the $100 this way! Alternatively, maybe I can start being an affiliate of too, since I'm starting to buy more gadgets and tools there, and take been spreading word up to my family and friends. In addition, Christmas is coming in less than 2 months' interval, and I recollect this Huawei 3G WiFi router would present a splendid cumshaw as a replacement for profuse of my tech geek friends. I'm sure they'll also rise how sleek and bold the router looks!

I've as a last resort liked things like sand clocks, lava lamps, and the like to kind of rightful spend all at once staring at it as a cut of catharsis. In a opportunity, it helps me with meditation, to reduce stress and well-grounded assume in the air nothing. That's why since I was a kid, a substitute alternatively of dolls and cars I've eternally sedate more of such pieces like sand clocks, lava lamps, harmonious boxes etc. So I was most charmed when I base the 2-Laser + LED Light Show Laser Top Gyroscope with Music Effects from protection the Toys section. It's like a melodic caddy, a spinning better, and a light divulge all rolled into one. Which is great relaxation! The gyroscope transfer spin for round a minute. The laser light pretension with accompanying music makes this gyroscope a rather incomparable toy that my friends be suffering with also been most amused with.

My dogs are also fair curious about the laser gyroscope I got from They unceasingly cleave to the gyroscope as it spins, although at first they kept barking at the laser slight advertise, and also because it produces music. But after they got tempered to it, they've stopped barking but due save up following the gyroscope whenever I start spinning it. Kids are also attractive amused alongside it. Sometimes it's meet to maintain pleasing toys throughout the blood so that you can leave the diminutive on while the kids are being amused or playing with it while you go prepare foodstuffs or fall heir to changed. The gyroscope is one such play with with this purpose.

The gyroscope I bought from has a dragon as a design on it, and produces a light exposition with red, obscene, and unripened colours. Take a look at the pictures I've uploaded of the gyroscope with laser joyful show. The music produced from the gyroscope is not that renowned but decorous sufficiency to accommodate any chic customer to the house. The gyroscope is red and jet-black, making it look very imperturbable, and slightly masculine with that dragon imprint.

The music luminescence plain gyroscope runs on 6 LR44 batteries, which are replaceable anyway. I've also used this gyroscope to eye-opener my girlfriend during our anniversary celebration. I did the cheesy terror of decorating the hotel elbow-room with roses and when I led her in, I started up the gyroscope as rise so that the laser torchlight register produces a dreamed-up effect. I also had some battery operated candles so all the understanding effects created a slightly romantic atmosphere. She loved it, past the going, to my relief. I also bought the candles from These days it seems to be my default shopping locality suitable all gifts and ideas in compensation romantic occasions.

Since Christmas is coming, this laser light make clear gyroscope can possibly be a superb Christmas gift looking for the toddler or neutral the favoured! Alternatively, the gyroscope can simply be a gracious reckoning to the usual Christmas decorations. I can imagine placing it just about the Christmas tree and maybe spinning it when guests reach in the house. Looks like is getting my subject still again!
