I learned that doing that is really common in Japan (like in China) but it's on trains and Kabuki plays (where people can even snore.) I still wonder why Spanish "siesta" name became so popular when Asians take them more often.
Maybe because it is a looooooooonger break in Spain, at the opposite of the micro-nap in Asia...
