When I stopped doing the daily strips, the company tried hard to continue handling the project by themselves. Where I was alone to do the stories, the layouts, the inking and the computer lettering, they needed weekly meeting to plan the stories, one person to do the drawing, another one to do the inking, another one for the text... And the result was...hmmm... maybe they are reading this column ... so I will say that there was a looooot of room for improvement! They realised it took time, and dedication to do it. They kept contacting me to reconsider. Those characters were my babies (and still are, somehow!), and I was that close to accept. Thanksfully, I met a nice young artist from Spain some times prior to the end of my run on the series. I proposed him to take over the strip duties, even warning him about some bad part of the deal. Much to my delight, he accepted. Some times later, he showed me some stuff. I experienced a strange sensation: they were my characters but, they were having fun by themselves. My "kids" had grown up and moved on. So it was time for me to do so.

Cool site! No doubts about it. By the way: I also published a little... well let me say... 'warm' welcome for my English readers. Check it out! :-)
Salut & and thanks a lot for your visit! Yes, I'll post English and German blogs in the future. To be honest: I studied French (7 years), but unfortunately it's all gone with the wind. :-( My french teacher was a big idiot and... but don't let me 'warm up' old stories. :-)
Have a nice day!
Dimebag
